Default Needle for Wurlitzer 2300

I just bought a needle for my Wurlitzer 2300. This is completely the
wrong one. I've searched the web now and it looks more like a needle
for a 2700 is required (Pfanstiehl 808-DS77). At least that's what the
shape of the plastic holading the needle looks about. Certainly not
the snake like bit of a real 2300 needle.

My guess is, that whoever restored my jukebox 20 years plus ago didn't
bother with the original parts (although the tone arm lokks like the
real thing). Should I go and have it build back to the original status
or just go on with the 2700 needle (assuming it is one of this
series)? How difficult is it to build it back?

One other thing: This is a european Wurlitzer 2300. Before i make any
mistakes, is it possible that the european 2300 models came with a
different setup?

Cheers
