Edinburgh auction.
The auction got a big mention in the Glasgow Herald today with a large
pic of the note that's expected to fetch the highest price, one for the scrap book. It's says that the Mcintyre collection should go for £150,000, no estimate was given for the Macmillan collection included in the same auction. Billy |

Truly a masterpiece of mid 19th century engraving, one of the loveliest Scot notes I have seen too. |

It sold at the Pringle auction for £3,300 + 15%, the estimate 2 1/2 years later is £3,000 to £4,000, I won't be buying it. Billy |
