Just make sure you get the 0.5....the FINE was a size moniker, not an
adjective meaning great quality in this instance!

Yes, that's fine...I mean...okay, I understand. The mediums behave like
Satrap's jr high boys did last year - drive one bonkers with their bad
behavior - and are to be eschewed.

Yes and no. The fine point ones (0.5) are among the very BEST. The
mediums (0.7) are among the very worst. At least in my experience.
The mediums blob and goop and do all kinds of weird stuff. The fines
behave quite nicely.

And the gel refills for the ballpens work fine, except the red, which
turns burgundy in short order. Mysteriously, these seem to work fine
in 0.5 OR 0.7!

Thank goodness no one said it had to make sense!

I have had some very good and some very bad Parker rollerball refills.
The good ones (even in 0.7) write pretty well, although not the as well as a
Pelikan, Waterman, or Cross rollerball.
The bad ones write like an out-of-ink ballpoint even when they are brand
new.
Because of the way they are held in the pen, opening your pen to check the
type of refill may often cause it to not fit quite right again, also.

Well, as long as they don't fart while you write, things should be ok...

Wal-Mart and Staples didn't have the fine, just the medium so, I bought one
of those Pilot Dr. Grip gel pens that takes the G2 refill. (Talk about
making sense!) It's a whole lot more comfortable than the regular G2 pen.

Will call Sav-On tomorrow.

Yes, it's a good price and while I'm a new fan of the Core fp, the ridge on
the bp is a little much making me reluctant to try the rb.
