Royal Canadian Mint and Perth Mint ?????
I have become interested in these fine mints since the Franklin Mint
no longer is a source for interesting non circulating legel tender coins and medals. Is there a market for Canadian Mint and Perth Mint products in the US? They both really produce some stunning and creative products. |

Far be it for me to determine what you should collect, but personally, NCLT is killing my interest in Canadian and Australian coins. Yes, they do produce quality products, but you are going to take a bath, make that a blood bath, when its time to resell them. The market for NCLT is very small. |

It is small, and deservedly so, but remarkably buoyant in parts. Witness the extraordinary premium commanded by the past-present-future issue of a few years back. I don't know if they are actually getting the asking price(s) (as per the book) since I don't follow that market (spit), but it seems they can represent a "good" investment. Well, if it keeps folk away from pre-decimals and colonials, I'm all for it. -- Jeff R. |

Royal Canadian Mint and Perth Mint ?????
I consider coinage such as NCLT to be works of art expressed in the
style of minting. (some are better than others of course) On Jan 23, 12:23*am, Jud wrote: M wrote: I have become interested in these fine mints since the Franklin Mint no longer is a source for interesting non circulating legel tender coins and medals. * Is there a market for Canadian Mint and Perth Mint products in the US? *They both really produce some stunning and creative products.
