Default Need Dealer Information

Recently I posted an article in the NG about my friend that had
uncovered a hoard of coins from his fathers collection. Well at the time
of posting it was just hear-say, but last Wed, I got a call from him,
and now they have everything in hand. He tells me that he has hundreds
of rolls of Walker,Franklins,Wash quarters, Merc's, etc.....etc. He also
has banker rolls of wheaties from the 20's-30's-40's....etc....etc. He
has rolls of Mexico 50 Pesos'- $20 St's,$10-$5-$3-$1 fractional gold
coins, all in rolls and perfectly preserved.
He has given me the opportunity to come to where they are and look at
them, and then sell them for them. He has one third of the collection,
with hs sister and Mother having the other 2/3 rd's I will be able to
sell it all. Some of the stuff I'm sure will go individually, but a
lot of it would like to sell to dealers.
What I am asking for is any information on very repeatable dealers that
I can email. I have gotten a few that I will contact from eBay and this
NG, but will need others, as I will nt be giving this stuff away, and
either will they.
If you or you know somebody that would be interested in this offer,
please email me and we can talk more about it then.
This is the first time this has ever happened to me and I don't want
anything to go wrong. I am a collection, not a dealer, but at the same
time I know what the value of this stuff is, and won't get caught with
my pants down.

Good luck to you, John! Especially with those wheat rolls (my heart
does flip-flops)!

If I were you, I'd look for a well-financed high-end dealer for the bits
you recognize as rarities (someone like David Lawrence, or Ira) and
maybe contact Silvertowne for a bulk purchase of the parts that qualify
as 'coin silver'.

Please keep us informed (after the fact so as not to tip your hand) as
to how it all goes. I'd guess that quantities as large as you are
speaking of can actually tip the market prices for some issues for a
period of weeks or even months. (especially if there are rolls of $20
gold by date!)

John .. I will be glad to assist you in your quest to unload your friends
collection. I will put you in contact with people that rank # 1 and #2 in the
coin industry. The sharks in this NG will nickel and dime such a collection if
what you say is true. My contacts can provide million dollar checks on the spot
and can provide you with a finders fee. Should you want to provide this one
stop service and help your friend sell off the collection let me know. I will
E-mail their phone numbers to you.

Yo! Clayton! I guess that blocking RCC members as bidders does not mean
you block them as sellers. Since that is true, I have some extra D
mintmarks to sell you.

Be sure you send him the SILVER mintmarks, not the ones you clip off of your
1922 cents. The copper one's just don't look right on a Mercury.

John, Good luck with your collection and I hope you would reconsider. Do you
think any real coin dealer of substance would hang out in this newsgroup.
PLEASE !!! You best take a look in Coin World and call the real dealers who
have made multimillion dollar purchases in the past 6 months. There are only
two real big ones in my opinion. Why waste your money grading the coins when
you can bring in someone who will buy the lot and write the check. Someone who
does not need a grading company to tell them the grade of the coin and also
someone who is a market setter. I would also like to say that if this is a
scam I congratulate you, it is better then I could have done. I have Drool on
my keyboard from the Puppets everytime I look at this thread.. Talk about
Greed. I will be doing DNA checks just to see who they are. THE COINGRADER

Should be worth in the million's....a roll
of $3 golds would go for over $150,000..

(RUN JOHN! RUN FAST!)

Do you think any real coin dealer of substance would hang out in this

newsgroup.

(So that's why you and your minions hang out here religiously,
carefully monitoring every word mentioned about you and/or your associates
?)

PLEASE !!! You best take a look in Coin World and call the real dealers

who
have made multimillion dollar purchases in the past 6 months. There are

when

(You don't want John to know the "real" grades of the coins because
the less he knows the more you can rip him for, right?)

Someone who does not need a grading company to tell them the grade of the

coin

(Because he has his own grading company and does not use industry
grading standards. He makes up his own grades.)

and also someone who is a market setter. (Really...)

I would also like to say that if this is a scam I congratulate you, it is

better then I could have done. (Oh I don't know about that, I'm sure
you and your associates could give John a run for his money in the scamming
department.)

I have Drool on my keyboard from the Puppets everytime I look at this

thread.. Talk about Greed. (Hey, you were the first one to jump in there
offering to "bring in someone" - and we all know who that would be - "to buy
the lot and write a check" before he's even had a chance to see the coins!)

I will be doing DNA checks just to see who they are. THE COINGRADER

(I'm glad this guy John recognizes you and your associates for what you
really are and refuses to deal with you, it's fitting.)

Just my opinion. -Buck F.
