Default FS: 1500, 1-oz silver rounds

I have 1500, 1 ounce silver rounds (silver bullion "coins") that I'd like to sell. I bought 3 cases of 500 each years ago, and now I'm ready to sell them. Can anyone tell me how best to do this? I'm not even sure what the going rate for bullion like this is--a fixed amount over spot price?

I looked at E-bay, and all I saw was credit cards and PayPal. I don't know if people can pay directly by personal check or not.

I live in Virginia now. If I needed to ship them elsewhere in the country, how would I do that? By UPS?

Thanks.

First I would try to find someone close to you who could pick them up.

Most people prefer paypal, but there are definately auctions which
specify check/money order only. Its best to offer as many paying
options as you can.

If you're selling all the rounds as a single lot you're probably going
to want to call around and see who will insure the nearly $5,000 in
bullion. If you're selling them one by one, or in small lots, I'd
advise using the cheapest method possible (probably in an envelope).
The less shipping costs the more you'll get in bidding.

The best way to sell on eBay depends on a couple of factors.

If you want to sell the entire 1500 at once, eBay may not be the
answer, especially if don't have a high eBay feedback rating. Not
many people would want to buy such an expensive lot from a new and
unknown seller.
If you have the time, the best way to sell would be in lots of 1,2
or 10,20 coins at a time. This would build up your feedback rating and
get you a higher price per coin over time. Also don't forget to post
pictures with your auctions, auctions with pictures always get more
bids and higher prices realized.
Ship UPS, and keep shipping costs low to get higher bids. Accept
any form of payment that makes you comfortable.
