Default help identify stamp ?

My dad who is 77 has started again with a stamp collection.

He has what seems to be a Guatemala 2c Barrios stamp from 192x
according to the book.

He also has what seems to be the same stamp but with a diagonal
perforated edge from lower left to upper right. That means it is a
triangle containg the lower right half of the stamp.

Can anyone identify this or is it simply damaged.?

thanks for any comments.

Regards

Hi
As a 78 year old collector, tell your dad welcome. The stamp is Scott
300 issued in 1930. Each half had the postal value of 1c.

Thanks for that.

He had been a collector for a long time but gave it up for a number of
years after his collection was stolen from the house.

He now has a number of albums purchased cheaply at various local
auctions so he is now deep into reorganising everything into one set.
