Default [OT???] Mars Rover - Lewis & Clark

In the event someone may be interested the following links take you the
a 6 minute animation (very impressive) of the Mars Rover
http://www.maasdigital.com/gallery.html

and the Lewis & Clark Exhibit (nicely done)
http://www.lewisandclarkexhibit.org/

I'd expect the US to have a Mars Rover stamp in the not too distant
future given the immensity and complexity of the entire project and this
kinda gives one a sense of what its all about.

With the new L&C stamps coming out in May, the L&C site has some really
nice attributes that should be useful in a classroom.home schooling or
just for general interest like for myself.

Interesting. Most of this was just science fiction when I was a kid.
Most of it still is, but now it has a hint of reality! :^)

I'll check that one out later...

I can't even imagine the programming that goes into that. sheesh...
And we call ourselves bitheads, eh?

I didn't know there were to be separate portraits as well as a "group"
stamp. I saw them today at the PO. Cool!

I'm waiting for them to appear myself (May). They are by far the best
looking stamps I've seen in many a year. I've only been collecting for
6 months but I always had a habit of going and buying the different
stamps to use just because they were there. These ones are really sweet
IMO, both the Bicentennial and the booklet of the portraits.
