Default Looking to buy book embosser. Suggestions?

I am interested in buying a book embosser, with a custom seal, for my
personal library. I'm looking for something like that which is shown on
this webpage: A handheld device that impresses a personalized seal into the
paper itself.

https://www.makeitcustom.net/Product...aspx?ProdId=PS

This particular company has a few seal designs which can be personalized,
but I am looking for suggestions for other seals, and other companies which
sell embosser seals. What is listed on the above website is fine, but
something more elegant would be of interest.

Also, is it customary for all embossers like this to have interchangeable
seals, or do some embossers have one fixed seal which cannot be changed?

Any experience with someone designing custom seals, charging a fair price?
I am interested in seals that show books, or something associated with a
library, but also seals with science emblems. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

Thanks,

Robert

Please. Don't.

Unless you really want to destroy the value of your books.

I strongly suggest you reconsider. Although I understand the appeal of a
nice embossed seal, and must admit in my early years I marked some personal
books that way, as an older and somewhat wiser collector, I cringe at the
thought of it now. Embossings, book plates, owner signatures, etc. all
reduce the value of the book to a collector. And I'm not just talking about
the monetary value. Of course, they are your books to do with as you
please. And, frankly, if an embossed seal increases your pleasure in the
books, well, then who am I to say no? But as for me, I'm always saddened
when I find an otherwise fine copy of a book that has been marked.

Unless, of course, you are or become very famous, in which case the seal
changes from defacement to provenance.

Even if the original poster is Robert Goulet?

One person's garbage is another person's treasure.
