AMI A Bass problems

Hi , I am having horrible problems with the bass on an AMI A silver amp
L-20 . Does anyone have this juke/amp who has had problems with the
bass? I have max bass and it will not go down. The pot is good, checked
associated resistors, caps, and bass choke, all appear good. The
schematic I am going by shows both leads of the bass choke going to the
center wiper of the bass pot, one direct and the other thru a cap and
resistor in parallel, then also to the same wiper. Seems kind od wierd?
Anyone have a wiring diagram/ parts list for this amp besdes the regular
schematic? thanks Jim
