Anyone else experiencing Ebay commection problems, from a snails's pace, to
not @ all ??

No problems here, but I did get three confirmation notices that I won a pair of
2004 P & D Sacs from Fred Shecter. :-)

They say there was a period of slowness or intemittent availability for about
55 minutes this morning that has now been fixed.

Mondays used to be horrible on ebay when they conducted their weekly
"maintenance" overnight Sunday into Monday morning. They usually required
several hours to recover from this "maintenance".

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

However, the "maintenance" is no longer an excuse for Monday problems as it is
now conducted between 1 am and 3 am (Pacific time) on Fridays.

55 minutes this morning that has now been fixed.


For once, it wasn't ebay's fault. One of their content host providers, Akamai,
was having issues. Akamai hosts for Yahoo and CNN too, and both those sites
had problems this morning as well:
