Beano Annual 1973 Variant Copy?

Hi, we have in our collection a 1973 Beano annual in mint condition,
however unlike regular 1973 annuals this one has no date to cover or
rear of book nor a price on inside. We have been told this could be a
publishers advance copy or a freak copy that got through the press
missing out the date and price, anyone know anything about this? has
it happened on other beano years or just on the 1973 copy? any
information much appreciated.

I didn't realize they published an annual.
