Replacement high frequency horn driver suggestions? (AMI G-120)
I'm looking around for a good replacement for the HF horn driver on my
AMI G-120. Anybody have a good suggestion? The juke box had previously been maintained by a vending company who had replaced the HF horn driver with a normal 8" speaker pointed up through the hole in the top of the cabinet, instead of just replacing the horn driver itself. I want to put a real horn driver back in there. Thanks in advance, Cory |

I replaced it with a crappy horn driver I had in an old PA speaker, but the frequency range is off quite a bit, so it sounds pretty bad. I read the manual and it said the crossover frequency is 500 Hz, so at least I know what I need. I really don't care if that part is vintage, I just want it to sound good! |
