Without looking let me guess...is it a bust half dime welded to an anvil?

Looks like an attempt at avoiding ebay final value fees.

Looks like he meant to type 3.95 and missed the period.

Auction looks like a scam anyway. I wouldn't bid.

I don't think I understand all I know about this auction. How could the
same guy bid the same amount three times? What am I missing here?

Looks like, to me, the winner placed a bid, felt insecure and place a higher
bid, still felt insecure and placed an even higher bid. No one else bid, so
he wins with his first bid, his other two higher bids will not have the
amounts shown.

I have done it a few times myself when I have had the lead going into the
last few seconds but was sure that I was going to get sniped. I place a
snipe bid, the bid that was showing does not change. Well, except when I
am leading by less than one full increment, then I can actually raise my own
bid. E.g., if another guy has a bid of $6.18 showing as high bid and the
the other guy's proxy is $7.18 (of course, the proxy is unknown to me), and
I bid $7.19 I become the high bid, now showing $7.19. If I am willing
to pay more for the coin and I don't think my $7.19 is going to hold, I
prepare to snipe at my best, say $9.20. Even if no one else bids, I will
raise the high that shows to $7.43 because that is a quarter, or one
increment, above the other guys $7.18. Bill

He bid once, decided he should bump it X dollars, then later decided he
should hedge even more. I've done this before, but never 3 times total in
13 minutes .

I can't see where 10 random coins would be a good bet to be worth $395
shipping, let alone adding $32, but "4000 bags sold!". I'll bet. Where's
that safeharbor URL? Looks like fee avoidance in addition to being an
extremely bad deal.

This guy has been selling these "grabbags" for quite some time, and seems to
be doing a landoffice business, and most of the rest of his auctions all say
$3.95, so I'd guess its a simple typo.

the winner of the auction gave him a negative fb for demanding $395 s/h.
I'd bet this came from an automated auction program that automatically sends
out a bill based on what was originally listed.

If you look at his feedback he seems to get a lot of repeat business, with
some very happy customers, along with a few people who got the junk that I'd
expect from such a 'grab-bag".

A fool and his money are soon parted, and betting $32 you are going to get
something worth $32 in such an auction is not a good bet in my mind, but
most of his customers seem happy, and he gets a lot of repeat business.
