AMI E-40/80 - anybody have one?

I recently acquired an E40 machine and was wondering if any of you have any
experience with this machine. Specifically, the mounting of the plexiglass
panes in the hood. I'm trying to mount these with what appears to be "v" clips
and I'm not having any luck. I know that these held the panes in before, cause
I'm the one who removed them, but I can't for the life of me figure out how
they go back in.

Any help/suggestions would be appreaciated.
