Rockola 435 No Filament Voltage
Hi Group,
I looked at a friends Rockola 435 Princess today that had suddenly lost all volume. All tubes are dark. No filament voltage. I think this amp gets it filament voltage from a "junction box" below. I checked the plug that supplies filament voltage to the amp and found negative 30 VDC on two of the pins. What's up with NEGATIVE 30V ? The big Green rectifier is putting out Negative voltage when checked directly. All fuses tested good, including the one hidden under the amp chassis. Any pointers on where to look? Thanks, JP |
