Default Rockola Tempo 1468 Cabinet Restoration

Just picked one of these up, and the cabinet has some water/moisture
damage. Overall, it's relatively solid, but the top layer of plywood
is lifting off/warped in some areas. In some areas around the bottom,
the top layer of plywood is missing/chipped off. There is also some
plywood separation around the corners of the back.

What is the best way to tackle this? I'm assuming I need to strip the
jukebox down to the cabinet, then repair, sand, and paint it,
correct? What should I use for the repairs? Is it just a painted
finish and, if so, what type of paint should I use? I'm new to this
and can use all the advice I can get. Does anyone have a step-by-step
guide online for cabinet restoration?

Thanks in advance.

It's really best to post pics somewhere, so we can see what you're
working on. When we did my 1485
we injected glue into the gaps clamped it and used auto body filler to
finish all the missing pieces. Then we
sanded the box down and primered and painted. Didn't completely
disassemble it, but took off some ez pieces
and taped the rest. Your warping worries me. Fixing warped wood is a
labor of love and chore. Pics please Pat
