Default I've Had It with the US Mint

For the second time in the last few months the
mint has canceled my order. I have tried to contact
them via their phone line but they "are unable to take my call,
please try later."
I think I'm done even trying to buy from them..

Tell me about it. They keep cancelling my order saying the credit
card declined it. Um no, the credit card company said the charge was
approved, I called them several times about every order to make sure
the charge would go through. The credit card company thought I was
nuts and saw no problem with the charge. And the service that ships
and packs the High Relief Gold coins is about as sorry as they come.
The coin in my order was just flopping around loose in the box. No
foam to fill the 1 inch gap inside the closed lid.

Why not wait a few years and buy this material at a true market price
rather
than at issue price from a monopoly distributor?

That works with most mint products. But then there's always that nagging
exception where something you want, like the 1999-S silver proof set, goes
way up to 10X issue price and stays there. It's a roll of the dice.

Or the Jackie Robinson BU gold of several years ago.
It's a conspiracy, I tell ya, a conspiracy!
