Default Giuseppe Di Stefano dead at 86 -- a stamp?

Giuseppe Di Stefano passed away at age 86 at his home near Milan yesterday.
The world has lost one of the greatest tenors of all time. His 50s and 60s
recordings of E' la solita storia and Core 'Ngrato are the best renditions I
have ever heard. I have written to Poste Italiane suggesting a
commemorative stamp because I believe Di Stefano truly deserves one. Anyone
wishing to make similar recommendations can forward them to the Director,
Strategic Planning at .

Do they have to wait until ten years after his death before Italy
can issue a stamp, like they do in a number of countries?

I'm not at all certain that Italy holds fast to that "rule". If memory
serves, the Mother Teresa stamp in the 90s was issued less than a year after
her passing.

I suspect that they may have treated Mother Theresa as a special
case.
Is she not being fast tracked in the canonization process?
