Kutztown Show
I stopped in at the flea market this past weekend in Kutztown, PA, and I
must say that it is not at all what I expected. Don't get me wrong, it was still a nice flea market and a lot of items, but very minimal where jukeboxes were concerned. There were a LOT of tubes for older ones, and a LOT of (well, mostly) old radios. All in all, it's nice if one is into old radios and looking for the old tubes. It wasn't too nice for someone who was looking more for jukebox items or SS parts. I was expecting more for a gameroom and jukeboxes since it was advertised as such. I saw a Seeburg set up and playing (I believe it was being raffled) and some in the backs of trucks, but that's about it. Could I have overlooked a lot of Juke stuff elsewhere? Disappointing but still nice. Bill |

Bill, your absolutely right. The club didn't have a chance to advertise it
properly. Nobody really knew about it. By the Sept. fleamarket it will be in Always Jukin' Jukebox Collector and Gameroom magazines. We are also sending flyers to the major jukebox verdor guys on the eastcoast. You have to admit, its a great place to have such a fleamarket - under a large roof with elec. power available, plenty of parking close by and downright cheap to set up and sell! If there is no interest shown at the Sept. fleamarket, I don't know what the club is going to do. Frank Benner - treasurer AHJBS "Weade" wrote in message ...
