Not a Ms-65 Rd or better, this one is quite attractive for the grade.
Flashy and with good color. Starting at a dollar and better than ANY
MS-64Rd for sale at the recent Baltimore and Long Beach shows. This
one has been in a collection for some years and I have a very low
reserve against it.

Thanks.

Nice to see my efforts to get you to clean up the hyperbole in your
auction listings have had some positive effect.
______________

Hmmm. *I don't know. *Didn't you notice that, although he is offering a
MS64R, his comments focus on the relative value of a MS65R and make no
mention that a nice PCGS MS63R probably could be had for less than $3K,
leaving enough change for a companion MS63R 1909-S and a tank of gas? *Fair
and balanced?

I said I had SOME effect.
Of course Ira (AKA "The Professional Numismatist") is still trying to
flummox buyers with irrelevant blather about higher grades, whispers
of grading difference, tremendous bargains, et cetera and so forth,
seems like he can't help himself.
But it did seem ever-so-slightly toned down this time around.
As Sam Spade said in "The Maltese Falcon": "The cheaper the crook, the
gaudier the patter."

Why doesn't this RF person go away? He contributes nothing to this group
and
seeks to irritate honest and ethical dealers. There is nothing wrong with
promoting the positive aspects of a coin to make a sale.
