My 20th Anniversary Sets are off to NGC
I finally got around to sending them off (5 sets) today. Many thanks
to the RCC posters for warning me to not open the box! If they ever make it back, I'll post the results. I've never been lucky enough to get back anything in a 70... |

Wow, those things are going for like 6-7K on ebay... hard to believe people
are paying this for a contrived rarity as the entire mintage of 10K is obviously going to be saved and will no doubt be high grade. I'd rather have a Gem Trade Dollar or a gem 1919-S SLQ, but hey, that's just me, it's what makes numismatics interesting right? Good luck and make a ton of money off them suckers... I hear you. If I'm lucky enough to get back a set of 70's, I'm sure
that I'll be able to find a nice trime to buy with the proceeds. Hopefully the value of the complete set will do well. But, I do have 2 more sets that are due to be shipped from the Mint the end of next week,,, unless they hose me and I get cancelled. -- Ron K |

I want money. ;o) Jonathan_ATC |

It seems like I've noticed it more lately. -- BA |

I usually use NGC, but am going to send my 20th Ann coins to PCGS. I want money. ;o) Jonathan_ATC PCGS coins are much more valuable in collector grades for moderns, 69 and 70. But NGC is far more likely to award a 70, and NGC 70 usually sells for twice or more the PCGS 69 price. So it works out about the same. Regards, Tom |

My submission is in the "received" state, and the current turnaround time at NGC for modern coins is up to 17 working days. I swear that when I checked when I mailed the box off that it was only 12 working days. Hopefully, I'll be getting something nice back from them around Christmas. Ho ho ho... |
