WWII U.S. M-1 Carbine Bayonet w/ Scabbard, Imperial

This WWII U.S. M-1 Carbine Bayonet with Scabbard marked, (M4 Imperial) is in
excellent condition. The overall length is 11 ½ inches with a blade length
of 6 5/8 inch. The blade has the original parkerization which has mostly
scabbard wear. The blade has no rust and no pitting. The crossguard is
parkerized and marked M4, Imperial and has the flaming bomb. The handle is
leather with six grooves. The end cap has a spring button and marked on the
top with an (S). The scabbard is in excellent condition. It is OD green
composite fiber material with a OD green cloth web belt loop. The scabbard
is marked, (U.S. M8A1, B. M. Co.) at the throat. The bottom side of the
throat is marked, (4/2 N). There is a metal wire off the web belt loop. Both
bayonet and scabbard are in excellent condition. There are no cracks to the
scabbard and no tears to the webbing.
