Default Tech help needed: 1957 Wurlitzer 2104

Hi,

I have a 1957 Wurlitzer 2104 and need a bit of advice. The kickplate
on my juke was a bit dented, so I ordered a replacement from Victory.
I am currently trying to remove the old one that is currently on there
and I just can't figure out how to get it out. I have removed the
lower grill extrusion, but the kickplate is still firmly stuck behind
the left and right bottom pilaster castings. I'm not a real juke
wizard and I am stumped on how these come off. Can anyone help me
out? I guess I would have the same issue if/when I ever need to
change out a fluorescent lamp. I'm guessing it isn't that difficult
to remove these 2 chrome pieces below the pilaster glass, but I'm
frustrated and scratching my head. I don't see any screws holding
them in place. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks in
advance.

Ted

By posting your email address to a usenet group, you
will probably wind up getting listed on spam mailing lists.
These groups are a prime target for harvesting email addresses
which are compiled and sold to spammers, may they rot in hell.

I dont have any 2104 experience but have you looked inside to see if there
are any attach brackets there? Also, you might call Denny or Steve back and
ask them. I'm sure they have been-there/done-that before.

Good luck
