Default TECH: AMI Continental 1 mech problem

I have just about got everything tweeked out of this mech except for the
reset of selection buttons. More often than not when you make a selection
the buttons will stay pushed in. The latch solenoid and relay work fine and
the manual reset button and circuitry works fine. What I notice is that when
it does this the sprag relay is staying energized after a selection is made.
Have any of you had a similar problem with the sprag relay staying closed?
TIA
Mike in Dallas
