Default Intermittant Rowe CD100 problems

I have a Rowe CD100 that I bought used last April that's always been a
little squirrelly. It will operate flawlessly for weeks but inevitably
whenever I add some new CDs and do a reindex, it goes wacky for a while. I
reindexed last week and it ran fine for a few days and then on Saturday it
suddenly started freezing up with a board error at the end of virtually
every song (or sometimes in the middle of a song). I'd cycle power, and then
the same thing would happen with the next song, and so on. This went on for
several days (until today) when I noticed that both neon bulbs had started
flickering like they needed to be replaced, and one of the two large colored
bulbs had burned out (the yellow one on the right side, as opposed to the
green one on the left). I replaced them all and suddenly everything works
fine. I'd like to bring in a pro to check it out and get it working properly
once and for all, but just when I decide it's really broken, it fixes
itself. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
-Mark

The box started malfunctioning again fairly regularly this evening and after
some experimentation I think I may have traced the problem back to the
service switch. I'm going to try replacing that and see what happens.

Replacing the service switch does seem to have fixed things at least for
now. I did several reindexes and everything is working fine. Maybe I lucked
out.
