Sir Walter Scott, Religious Discourses, By A Layman
I know, a strange thing for him to have written. I found this last
Saturday inexpensively at a college library sale. It is a first edition, which he wrote anonymously. Published by Henry Colburn, London 1828, in full leather, five bands on spine, all edges gilt, no ads at the end. Unfortunately, the front hinge is gone. It was last reprinted in 1831, though a paperback copy came out in 2007. A truly rare find. Francis A. Miniter |
