cat...update
For those who asked, my cat is much better. He's out of his bed now
and purred and is eating after two weeks... I don't know what the heck was wrong with him, but I did notice his back leg shaking. I think he may just have arthritis and maybe had the kitty flu or something. Anyway, his nose is cold and wet again too, and he even played a little today. So very happy! Nothing in the mail for many many many days. I have bought several Lost in Space cards though. That's about it. Oh well; life goes on. |

Glad to hear the kitty is doing better. On the downside, and this
isn't to depress you or anything, but old animals sometimes are at their best just before they lay down for the last time. I've had several dogs rally, play, be happy and enjoy loving before the end. I'm hoping he'll keep playing and do well. Take care, Cliff On Thu, 08 Sep 2005 16:36:09 -0400, Sue H wrote: For those who asked, my cat is much better. Thanks; I am prepared for it. I am sad though, because I do know he's
probably not going to live another 4 or 5 years. I'll be lucky if he lasts few months. But could be worse; I had two others (one had Loupus and the other a tumor in his intestines and he starved to death...and couldn't drink or use the litter). Also one hit by a car so I know worse tragedy than old age. Still sad though. They become almost like your kids. Glad kitty is feeling better...hopefully he will be with you for quite
awhile longer...Whatever happens you know(and he knows) that he has someone who loves him...and makes him happy and comfy.... I have lost my share of furry companions(cats,dogs,horses...)..You are right...they do become like your kids...It always hurts...but there are soooo many good memories as well!!! Just enjoy whatever time God allows... Barb Sue H wrote: Thanks; I am prepared for it. I am sad though, because I do know he's probably not going to live another 4 or 5 years.
