Newbie "Help Needed" question - autographs by Mail

Hi,

I'm new to the autograph collecting biz and was wondering if there is a
list available of celebs that are more likely to respond to a signature
request by mail (with an SASE included) - as I live outside the US, I'm
limited from really meeting anyone in person to ask for their
autographs. and if so, what is the regular procedure for requesting
autographs? Do I have to enclose something for them to sign or is there
a standard publicity photo that they send out?
I am especially interested in Keanu Reeves' signature, though I
understand he's not likely to respond to any mail requests..

Your best bet is probably just going to groups.google and reading the
success of this newsgroup to determine which celeb's have been signing well.

In my opinion, it's almost impossible to get a real autograph from
keanu. I wrote him several times (from Europe) to movie sets but my
letters came back after a long while with the TRS mention... He's not a
good signer, is he?

I tried Keanu care of the Matrix production when they were filming in
Sydney, never got a response. Your right, he is very hard, if not impossible
to get via mail.
