Default A Christmas miracle?

When I sold this note,

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=3937449049

it was,

"in fine condition, has seen circulation. No pinholes or tears."

but now it's,

"THE NOTE HAS HAD VERY LITTLE HANDLING AND IS STILL CLEAN AND CRISP. NO
TEARS, INKMARKS OR PINHOLES. A SUPERB NOTE IN VF CONDITION IF NOT
BETTER."

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...8591 477&rd=1

Truly a Christmas miracle.

No wait, silly me, it's been washed and ironed, compare the pics, sorry
for the false alarm, no miracle after all.

I've asked the seller where the dirt and wrinkles went to. Billy

A Christmas miracle - awaiting an unwise man with gold, frankly no sense and
mirth!

He did a good job. I have bought an 'aEF' note that appears clean and
crisp with good corners, no obvious signs of creases but part of the
design eroded (Warren Fisher £1).

Why does the BoS put a zero at the beginning of most numbers? I seem to
remember that there was at least one exception to this on a £1 note.

Kind regards, jmtwy.
