On the way home, we stopped at Warwick... Anne 1707 E now in the
collection!


They have a neat castle there. Privately owned but open to tourists. I
remember
they had several peacocks walking around
the flower gardens there.

Sometimes I think that British weather can be fortuitously providential for
the other historical pursuits in life, particularly those of collecting
certain metallic objects which surely could have passed through said castles
at a particular moment in history
