Default Seeburg Entertainer Voltage problem

I saw this long ago post about an entertainer juke not selecting the
record, the turntable just goes back and forth. I'm having the same
problem after taking mine out of storage after 4 years.

I'm getting 24 1/2 volts instead of 27. I would appreciate any
assistance on how to fix this. I'm going to order a manual as soon as
I can find one online.

Thanks, Art Jackson NJ

Yep... I believe (and the Black and Gray box book seems to bear this
out)
that the +27 among other things, powers the trip relay and
solenoid....
gotta have it. It should come from the control center with all the
other
voltages... have you checked all the fuses in the back of the DCC by
pulling them out and checking with an ohmmeter? Should be a .8 amp
fuse,
looks like a fairly simple circuit....

It seems all of the logic works on -27, which is why the unit will
accept a
selection and begin to scan.

Good luck, Don

Thanks Jim. I'll try cleaning the connectors. I did some of them. I
was looking in the back trying to see if I could figure out where to
find the "selector bypass switch". I pushed a little arm, and now
it's on B sides always (#'s 200-279).

I'm going to buy a manual today. Is always jukin website ok to order
from? I see them in my google results a lot.

Thanks again.

Art
