Default Hats Off To RCC Members!

Hi Folks,

I can't express how much fun I've had since discovering this newsgroup a few
months ago! I've learned a lot about various facets of numismatics, and have
had some great experiences in here with different ones of you.

Three members here that I simply must heap some praise upon --

Bruce Remick: I expressed an interest in two cent pieces in a thread here
not long ago. Bruce generously sent me a very helpful book that I have found
to be fascinating! It has shown me many things about two cent pieces that I
may never have learned without having it as a resource. Many thanks, Bruce!

Jerry Dennis: In a recent thread, I mentioned that I wished that I had some
Ike dollars to give out as tips. Jerry volunteered "out of the blue" to send
me some that he had access to. I was very pleased to get them! I'm enjoying
sharing them as tips here in the community where I live. Thanks a bunch,
Jerry!

BAJJERFAN: I had asked here in RCC about certain Kennedy halves not being
readily available in circulation. Tom replied to me and offered to provide
some of those that I needed for two sets of Kennedys that I'm putting
together. (In fact, I received them in today's mail.) I really appreciate
your help, Tom!

And speaking of Kennedys, if any readers here have a couple of sets of 2001
P and D coins that they'd like to part with, I am interested. Please email
me if that is the case with you.

Thanks again, RCC guys and gals! You ROCK! (That's a verb, not a noun!)

Warm regards,
Larry

Er, Larry, I think your kudos must belong one of the other Bruce's who
posts here. It wasn't me who sent you the book. Thanks anyway for the
free publicity.

Yikes! Sorry for the error, Bruce. You are welcome that you have been
mentioned in this manner.

My apologies for the naming faux pas. I meant to say Bruce Hickmott in the
previous thread.

Well, there's Remick and Hickmott. Seems to me I've seen one or two
others as well. If this is a problem, I don't mind changing my name to
Reid or something.

You're confusing me now with Batman, the Lone Ranger's young friend, and
maybe some other superhero characters. Or maybe even Templeton Reid. I
think I'll stay Bruce Remick for purposes of this newsgroup.
