Most originals I've seen are in pretty bad shape. They were all played to
death. However, there is a pretty common album of several 78's that was
reissued when the movie "The Glen Miller Story" was released in the 1950's(?)
that includes In the Mood as well as several other big hits. The quality on
these recordings is much better than the originals and they turn up regularly
on ebay and other places for not much money.
