What about the artists? was Copying dustjacket blurbs
If you are going to argue against the use of blurbs, you would also have to
take a stand against using pictures of the dustjacket or book itself. You would be using that picture to profit without giving the artist his/her credit. The jacket, more often than not, is attributable and is rarely done. I too am a strong supporter of using blurbs and pictures, and of course against using another's description. The more keywords the better. |
