TECH: MM5 keyboard ? do I need a relay?

If it needs one could you please tell me where I could get one? Thanks, Matt I dont know exactly about the MM5 specifically - but many of the ROWE AMI machines of this era had a space for an extra relay on the button bank assembly and this was used for some optional bonus pricing/premium pricing feature. (I think) For normal use this relay is NOT needed and is optional. If your machine is working fine then ignore this relay socket. If the setup is anything like the MM4 - there should be 2 open frame relays in the button bank. One will activate the LATCH solenoid that releases the buttons and the other will make the search unit motor spin if closed manually. |
