Default Cleaning oil stained plastics?

Hi All,
What is the best way (If anyway) of removing oil stains from broken
bubble tubes on plastics in the Wurlitzer OMT 1015. This isn't a
recent stain either and is on the U plastic as the tubes have been
replaced. Any comments appreciated.
Thanks Don

I think those are permanent; I have found nothing that will remove them. The
ones I have seen seem to go through the paint ruining the part. Unfortunate
on the OMT's as all the plastics on that thing are pricey

you know these are all great options, but I have not found a plastic yet
that was salvageable after a bubble tube explosion. Maybe its because the
fluid is hot or maybe because of the composition of the oil within(didnt
someone mentiuon that bubble tube fluid was toxic?) it just trashes the
plastics.

If you have an OMT that has damaged plastics from bubble tube leakage or
explosion, you might as well get new plastics. The best dealer prices I have
found for plastics is thru Steve at New England Jukebox. The best prices on
OMT/1015 bubble tubes is from Bob at Wurco.

Good luck

Home dry cleaning fluid dissolves grease and oil very well.

Used it for 20 + years to clean out motors. gearboxes and mechanisms
of grease and oil cruddy residue before rebuilding and relubricating
machine in question. Safe to fully immerse and soak motors etc in too
without causing electrical problems.

Not easy to find these days but if is worth a try if the other methods
fail..
