Unhappy Rowe AMI R-91 Error Code 37

Hi,
I have a Rowe AMI R-91 Vinyl Juke Box. It has worked perfectly up until now. It suddenly stopped playing and gave Err 37. I don't have a manual, does anyone know what this is? Is it fixable or is it terminal?
Thanks
Phil

Inner cam microswitch on the transfer (gripper) motor assembly is not
working.

Thanks Ken

is this serious? How easy would it be to fix - do I need to call an engineer out?

1, rotate the cam with your fingers (with power off).
2 observe that the inner cam switch is closed by the cam action
3.observe that it makes a "click" noise as it closes.

4 disconnect a wire from the switch, and put a meter across there,
when it clicks on and off
does it go cleanly from closed-open open-closed on each click ?

if it does then its not the switch thats the problem

if it doesnt do this then the switch is faulty and must be replaced
switch is held in place by
2 screws, 2 slide on tabs.
Unscrew, disconnect wires

Remove switch, go to any electrical supplier and get another identical
unit

reconnect the slide on tabs, and screw back into position.
While you are at it, replace both switches as if they are original
they are the same age and have had identical
use and will have identical wear and tear.

OF course it might not be the switch,

It might be dry joints on the back of the PC board(s), if so,
resolder.

It might be the connector pins on the mech control board,
or even the pins in connector between the mech control board and
central control computer

you can replace the pins yourself, if you know what you are doing have
the right tool. (or are good with making do by using pliers etc

I cant remember how to clear the error (its been about 8 years or so).
someone on here might be able
to help you if it isnt a self-clearing system like the CD 100.
