Ira, I just picked up a collection of Lincolns and in the set is a 1922.
Can I send you a picture to take a look at it. See if it warrants a slab?

Jim, if you want webspace to post pics on, mail 'em to me and I'll put
them up for you. I'm sure lots of folks would love to have a stab at
this, and Ira and others have done a great job of educating us on the
1922. I'm _almost_ confident enough at this point where I think I could
spot an obvious fake.

My email address is real. Oh, anyone else wants something posted,
that's a standing offer to the group. Little stuff doesn't cost me a
thing.

'cjoint' is a commonly used place to post photos for NG's. I forgot about
it until someone reminded me recently on the stamp NG. You could just post
the photo there, and ping Ira w/ the URL. (and the rest of us could
benefit also.) :-)

host site and include the URL so all can see it as well.

I put the coin up at ABPN.

Real curious about this one. The rest of the set was in XF-MS60 range
including the svdb.

Thanks for looking.

I took a look. I'm not an expert, but that coin looks bad to me. The
two's in the date look very different, like the coin was maybe altered
from a 1932.

But if Ira disagrees with me, I not only retract the above post but am
prepared to deny under oath that I ever made it. :-)

I'm gonna say it's a weak reverse variety. Just because I have no idea and
throwing around buzz-words makes me feel better.

Jim,

I got to alt.binaries.pictures.numismatic but all I see are 4 photos.
All are tiny and none seem to be from you. Better send me an e-mail at
the add'y previously posted in this thread.

Ira
