My Buy of the Week

I walked into my local Pawn Shop today just to have a look around and to
talk to the Proprietor for a bit. I happened to notice that he has added
more coins to the case since my last visit. I asked him to pull the
trays out so I could look through his loose coins. He has alot of '64
Washington's, lots of silver Roosies, some 90% silver Kennedy's, a few
Morgans, and some rather ugly Buff's and Merc's. I don't usually look at
the Morgans, but one caught my attention. It has some dark toning and
some very nice detail. I picked it up and set it to the side along with
a very nice 1964 Sierra Leone 1/2 cent and a very nice AU 2002-P
Canadian nickel(I'm a sucker for nice nickels). I didn't see anything
else I was interested in so I asked him what he would take for the 3
coins. He took his loupe out, examined all 3 coins and said,"Oh, how
about $11 for them." So I pulled out $11, handed it to him, and walked
out of the shop with a 1964 EF-40 Sierra Leone 1/2 cent, a 2002-P AU
Canadian nickel, and an 1894-S VF-20 Morgan Silver Dollar. Not a bad
haul for $11.
