Default major FREE 8-track score !

someone just gave me a huge storage bin container full of 8-track
tapes, along with (3) other carrying cases full, and one full rotary
storage rack for home use- all for FREE !

I love this hobby ! Right on top was Aerosmith, Zappa, Rolling Stones-

AWESOME ! There's about 400 tapes there.

Great...hopefully they took a dump in all of the cartridges. So you
got a box full of trash carts. I recently got Chicago XIX for a DIME,
****wad. HAHAHAHAHAHA

LOL!!! Nope, and he'll need to raise more, because the back taxes,
interest AND penalties will force the IRS to take his house unless he
can come up with some big bucks!

It's pretty obvious you don't know your ass from a hole in the ground.
Chicago XIX was THE last big label commercial 8 track released, and is
tough to find, as is anything after "Hot Streets." But, being a junk
peddler, I'm sure you wouldn't know the finer points of
collectability!

Bob, I would not pay one cent for any Chicago tape, they suck.

If I got them for free that would be the only way. Hopefully someone
would buy them to take them away, so I could get rid of them- cuz
Chicago sucks, bad.

I had the entire Chicago lineage of tapes from S/T Transit Authority to
the last tape they made, they sold for less than $1 each total in a lot
on Ebay- and they were in MINT condition kept in a case for 20 years.
The labels were perfect.

I listened to them briefly, the early stuff had some lousy Jimi
Hendrix-like wannabee guitar work on it. But otherwise totally lacking
in hard rock inventiveness.

You actually like that stuff ? Chicago is way over-produced IMO. The
best rock is 3 or 4 instruments and a voice, ala Led Zeppelin,
Aerosmith, Cream, Rush, et.al.

That can be expanded upon and made a bit more interesting with a 3
guitar "attack", typically 2 "dueling" leads and a rhythm, ala Skynyrd,
Blue Oyster Cult, Outlaws, et. al.

....and can also be taken one step further with 2 drummers, ala Grateful
Dead, etc. ( I believe the Outlaws also used 2 drummers if memory
serves ? but I could be wrong on that last one...it's been 25 years
since I saw them in concert)

See, it's much better discussing topics rather than engaging in a flame
war, isn't it.

You like Chicago ? You can have ALL my Chicago tapes for 4 for a buck,
and pay the actual media mail shipping and associated paypal fee.

Realize I'm not that hard to get along with- esp. once you talk
8-TRACKS for once, and stop attacking my reputation and personality
with false accusations and untruths. Your problem is, you let your
POLITICAL BIAS pollute your 8-track hobby. Bad move.

Someone can be registered Independent, could have voted for Perot and W
(which I did), and still be a good person and 8-tracker. Cut the ****
already and grow up.

On the collectibility knowledge, you are the one that puts down every
one of my auctions, from 78rpm records to polka tapes to 8-track
players to erased blanks- then all the stuff sells anyway for a good
price and you end up with your foot in your mouth, every time.

The latest is the "junk cartridge cases" accusation- yet 20 of them in
303 Savage caliber sold for $53. What's your Chicago XIX tape worth in
comparison ?

You only buy on ebay, you don't sell- so you have limited knowledge at
best of what anything is worth there.
