I have done several amps including 2 G`s

Their is nothing difficult about restoring these amps . If you can do an
excellent job of soldering you can repace the capacitors and it will be
fine .. unless its fried ?

Ken - I use Rich the Amp man in Ft Worth. He is great with Seeburg select
receivers as well. He does all my stuff and is very thorough and guarantees
his work.

I will email you his phone number if you like.

The best? I have no idea. One thing I would ask the person first is if
they make the AVC circuit work properly, or if they disable it. In my
opinion, if they tell you it's not important, steer clear of them.

I do all mine myself, and also for a few juke resellers in the area. I
also test for distortion using a square wave signal and a scope. Lot's
of times I find distortion that I couldn't hear, but maybe my customer
could have. Everyone's hearing is different, so I'd shy away from
people who test them just by listening. That isn't a popular opinion,
but it's mine.
