The CDM-3 really can't play the CD-R's, as well as the CDM-4I/S or
CDM12. Only with the later CDM-PROs could the CD-R be played reliably.

And (Deutsche) Wurlitzer does make a kit for the PRO to upgrade their
machines.

to clarify that - its many of the CDM 12 that wont work with CD-R not
CDM 3.

The later CDM 12 are better I believe



Also - is there actually a CDM 12 update kit available for the
wurlitzers ? Ther is for ROWE but I have no idea of other brands
