artist John Baeder's extensive collection of circa 1920-1940 postcards.

general stores, each emblazoned with vintage Coca-Cola signage. For twelve
years, Baeder was a successful art director in Atlanta and New York. In
1972 his love and passion for the diner became his primary concentration.
His influencial and highly acclaimed books "Diners," "Gas, Food, and
Lodging" and "Signs Language" demonstrate his unique gift of story telling
and writing. John Baeder is a painter-poet who makes us see the beauty and
