Hello All,

I read this board, but haven't posted in a long time.
My Andrew Jackson web site got a question I can't answer and I was
hoping that one of the experts here might know what my questioner is
asking about. Here's his question:

Dear sir, I have a coin or medallion of andrew jackson on 1 side it
has a side profile in the center of the coin, with words" Andrew
Jackson President of the United States" circling the outside wth the
date "A.D. 1829" at the bottom, On the other side it has the
words"Peace and Friendship" with two hands clasped in a handshake in
the center and what appears to be a tomohawk and peace pipe crossing
each other at the top of the coin. I am curious about this item can u
help.

Can anyone help us out?
Thanx
ROB

Sounds like a political token, and it could be fairly valuable, say $300-400.
Does it appear to be brass ? Is there an eagle with arrows ?
