Canada is a wonderful place to bicycle tour. But the times I've gone
there my touring mates would offer up their Loonies and $1 coins to
get rid of unwanted weight. Every transaction that involved cash was
an effort to get as little change back as possible. I remember a $25
lunch that we paid in coins and reduced our weight by about 2 pounds
(ok I exagurated but you get the point).
