they only had a few good top 40 songs, their albums on a whole were
disappointing

eventually all classic rock bands will be in the hall of fame, because
there simply isn't that many of them, the hall status is bogus

simply a way to bilk more money and get the public to buy the same old
LP's they already heard 5000 times on vinyl and tape back in the day

example: a few years back, they aired a Pink Floyd The Wall tour
concert on cable TV- today's rap/hip hop/bubble gum generation watched
it at home-

that weekend, Pink Floyd CD sales skyrocketed, and disappeared from
the shelves like so many hot cakes
