Hi, I am new to the forum and am a amateur collector. I just purchased
a 1935e silver cert. that has been claimed to be tissue paper thin and
no print on the reverse side. Cannot for the life of me find anything
like it to see if it is real or not. Can anyone tell me if they have
heard of such an error? Thank you very much!

I don't know much about US currency but some of the notes of that era
were able to be split in half. The fibres of the paper allowed the
front and back (obverse and reverse) to be seperated from each other
this created two thin notes.

I have a New Zealand note that has been seperated this way but I have
both the front and the back.

I would recommend showing it to a reputable numismatic dealer -
someone who is a member of a numismatic association.

Thank you for your response. When I looked at the back of the note
with no print, it does look like it has been split in half but wasn't
sure if that was possible. Appears I made a bad judgement.
