Default Waterman Carene Repair Help

I'm in possession of a friends Carene that he dropped, nib down. The nib is
bent ~.15 cm up off the feed and the tines are slightly bent apart. There
are no cracks to the nib nor missing tipping material that I can see with my
loupe. Is it possible to repair this nib without replacing the whole
section unit? If so, who can do that kind of work? The nib/feed section
can be replaced for a total of $85.00 (incl. s/h). Just curious if there is
a cheaper way to go for this guy.

Thanks for the help.

Kelly G.
