reel 'bump' noise question
I have been buying some new reels on Ebay to listen to.
I notice that sometines, after the first play, I can hear a 'bump' at
certain places in the program.
What causes this; is it my player?

TC 8 Update
Now my Sony player is emitting a high pitched squeal from the left channel.
I opened up the unit to see if maybe it was a lubriaction issue (it wasn't.)
The sound emits when the unit is switched on,...
